Wrong Spectacles

Wrong spectacles create a blurred world,
giving words a chance to slide their own way,
on to the paper – invincible word, triumphant word,
making it’s mark upon an ever changing future.
Who can do the writing when the word takes over,
flooding the page, its neat black form,
flowing from the pen, rushing to be seen,
before the well runs dry, and if it dries
somewhere there will be a build-up,
until the whole book is flooded, who will then build an Ark,
for words to enter two by two, sailing off,
across unknown pages, oceans of manuscript,
to find a library of rescue.
